AuDHD assessment

Welcome to your dual assessment - a unique journey crafted to understand the splendid tapestry of your neurodivergence. Here's a glimpse of what a combined Autism and ADHD assessment entails.

Initial assessment intake consultation

An important first step on your journey toward understanding your neurotype, the goal of the initial assessment intake consultation is to determine if a full, combined assessment is warranted, and help you decide the best next steps for your needs. Think of this as a friendly chat where we get to know you better. It's a safe space where your experiences take center stage. By investing this time upfront, we aim to avoid any unnecessary costs associated with assessments that might not be essential for your situation. We don't want to waste your time, or charge you for conducting assessments that aren't required or helpful for you. It's a thoughtful and cost-effective approach that prioritises your well-being.

Note: The initial assessment intake consultation is a separate cost from your assessment and payable at the time of booking your appointment online. Please see our pricing page for details.

We provide comprehensive multidisciplinary assessments; however, if you prefer a single-clinician assessment, please let us know during your intake consultation.

Clinical observation sessions

Session one: Meet with your clinician for a supportive, confidential conversation to explore your neurotype and what matters most to you. This is your first session with your clinician. We chat, we observe, and we gently guide you through a compassionate process to delve into the intricacies of your experiences.  It's about creating a safe space where your individuality shines.

Session two: Meet with the next member of your multidisciplinary team to build on the first session and deepen our understanding of your experiences.

Occasionally, a third session may be required. If this is the case, it will be included in your assessment at no extra cost (there are no hidden charges).

For young people under 16, the first session is held with a parent or caregiver to gather important background information. The second session is then dedicated to meeting with the young person, giving them the opportunity to help us understand their experiences in their own way. Our aim throughout is to create a safe and supportive space where your individuality can be seen and understood.

Online questionnaires
Our assessment tools include convenient online questionnaires, allowing you to share your insights at your own pace and time. Your comfort is our priority, and we're dancing to your tune.

Once the assessment interviews and questionnaires are complete, your psychologist gets to work; we'll score, interpret, perform differential diagnoses, and provide you with a diagnostic report.
