Kirstie is part of our intake team, and is a counsellor and mentor supporting individuals with disabilities and neurodivergence. Kirstie combines academic training with lived experience to provide compassionate, practical support. Kirstie is committed to inclusion, independence, and helping people access the services they need.

Professional background
Kirstie is a dedicated counsellor and mentor with a strong focus on supporting individuals with disabilities and neurodivergence. Kirstie holds a Graduate Diploma in Counselling and is currently completing a Master of Disability and Inclusion.
Kirstie brings both professional knowledge and lived experience, with a deep understanding of autism, ADHD, and intellectual disabilities. This combined perspective informs a thoughtful, compassionate, and informed approach to practice.
Outside of work
Kirstie enjoys spending time with family and values connection and balance outside of work. Kirstie can often be found relaxing at home, spending time on the couch cuddling with her dogs.
Clinical approach and services
Kirstie is passionate about helping individuals build capacity, develop independence, and navigate challenges with confidence. Kirstie provides counselling and mentoring that is grounded in empathy, respect, and practical support.
Kirstie is also a strong advocate for access to diagnosis, recognising its importance in enabling appropriate supports and services. Through a strengths-based and inclusive approach, Kirstie supports individuals and families to recognise their abilities, overcome barriers, and move toward meaningful goals.
