Prices and Payment

We keep our costs as low as possible by taking payment for the initial consultation online, so you're paying for our professional service, not our admin time.

Initial consultation appointments are paid for upon booking and are non-refundable. But don't worry, if you're unable to attend your booked appointment time because you're sick, or for another unavoidable reason, you can reschedule without any extra costs or fees involved.

We'll send you an invoice that you can pay by direct credit to our bank account, or by credit card online. NDIS funding may be used (if applicable).

Please contact us at admin@mindscope.com.au if cost is preventing you from accessing an assessment - we may be able to assist with alternative payment arrangements or a payment plan.

Initial Intake Consultation: $290

Includes:

Your initial appointment, which takes about 50 minutes,
A screening assessment to help you decide whether a formal assessment is required.

Autism Diagnostic Assessment: $2250
Includes:

Your assessment appointments (usually two), which take about 50 minutes each,
Online questionnaires, which take about an hour, can be completed online any time that suits you,
Your comprehensive diagnostic report, sent to you on completion of the assessment.
Your follow-up appointment, which takes about 50 minutes, and allows you to discuss the outcomes of your diagnostic report and potential support needs.

ADHD Diagnostic Assessment: $2250

Includes:

Your assessment appointments (usually two), which take about 50 minutes each,
Online questionnaires, which take about an hour, can be completed online any time that suits you,
Your comprehensive diagnostic report, sent to you on completion of the assessment.
Your follow-up appointment, which takes about 50 minutes, and allows you to discuss the outcomes of your diagnostic report and potential support needs.
Additionally, if you would like to explore potential medication options, we can provide you with a referral to a psychiatrist who accepts our reports and prioritises MindScope clients.

Combined Autism and ADHD Diagnostic Assessment: $2750

Includes:

Your assessment appointments, (usually two or three), which take about 50 minutes each,
Online questionnaires, which take about 1-2 hours, can be completed online any time that suits you,
Your comprehensive diagnostic report, sent to you on completion of the assessment.
Your follow-up appointment, which takes about 50 minutes, and allows you to discuss the outcomes of your diagnostic report and potential support needs.
Additionally, if you would like to explore potential medication options, we can provide you with a referral to a psychiatrist who accepts our reports and prioritises MindScope clients.

Level Re-evaluation / Support Needs Assessment: $1500

This assessment is for those who already have a diagnosis, but require an updated assessment of their support needs (often required for Disability Support Pension or NDIS).

Includes:

Your assessment appointment, which takes about 50 minutes,
Online questionnaires, which take about half an hour, can be completed online any time that suits you,
An updated diagnosis,
A letter of support including detailed support recommendations
A step-by-step process document and forms required to help you navigate the system more easily if you are applying for NDIS or DSP.

Documentation for support applications, including tailored support recommendations, is available upon request for the following fee:

NDIS Access Request: $250

Includes Letter of Support, Clinician completed NDIS Access Request Form, Letter to your Medical Practitioner, and a step-by-step application guide.

Disability Support Pension: $250

Includes a DSP Application Support letter, all required forms, and a step-by-step application guide. (Over 16 years old).

Carer Support Pension: $250

Includes CSP Application Support letter, all required forms, and a step-by-step application guide. (Under 16 years old).

Carer Allowance Report: $150

Includes a completed Carer Allowance Application form. (Under 16 years old).

Assistance for Isolated Children (AIC): $150

Includes a completed application form.

Companion Card Application Assistance: $100

Includes a completed application form and the signing of passport photos (photos provided by you).

Letter of Accommodation for education or work environments: $100

Includes a letter to your school or employer including tailored support recommendations.
